Shaykh Abū Aḥmad Sulaimān Ḥamzah
An Ibadan-based Sunni caller and educator with over 20 years of active dedication to Da'wah, Islamic education, and community counselling upon the methodology of the Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamā'ah (the Salaf aṣ-Ṣāliḥ). Through public lectures, weekly radio broadcasts, mosque halaqāt, and institutional direction, Allah has guided generations of students and general Muslims through Shaykh Abū Aḥmad's teachings and clarifications of classical Islamic texts.
Educational Background & Studies
With the aid and grace of Allāh, Shaykh Abū Aḥmad Sulaimān Ḥamzah began his study of authentic Islamic knowledge from a tender age, sitting with and learning from notable scholars within Ibadan and across Nigeria. His studies encompassed classical Arabic grammar (Naḥw and Ṣarf), the science of Qur'anic recitation and Tafsīr, the fundamentals of Islamic Creed ('Aqeedah), Hadith nomenclature (Muṣṭalaḥ al-Ḥadīth), and Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh & Uṣūl al-Fiqh).
Alongside his traditional Islamic scholarship, he holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Economics from the University of Ilorin (2003/2004), where he also served as the Ameer of the Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria (MSSN). He subsequently served as the Ameer of the Muslim Corpers Association of Nigeria (MCAN) Kano State and Na'ibu-l-Ameer for the North-Western Zone (2005/2006).
