Primary Religious & Scholarly Disclaimer: All lectures, fatwas, articles, and rulings published on this platform represent Islamic theological and jurisprudential guidance (Fiqh) rooted in the Qur'an and Sunnah upon the understanding of the Righteous Predecessors (as-Salaf aṣ-Ṣāliḥ). They are provided for spiritual guidance, education, and moral counseling only. They do not constitute civil/statutory legal advice, medical advice, financial consulting, or an official court judgment (Qadā').

1. Platform Nature & Methodology

The platform is an open digital archive managed under the auspices of Qalbus-Saleem Islamic Center in Ibadan, Nigeria. Its purpose is to disseminate authentic Islamic scholarship, systematic lessons in classical Arabic texts, and moral counsel according to the methodology of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamā'ah. Access to all published lectures, audio files, and articles is provided free of charge for the public benefit.

2. Islamic Da'wah Fair-Use Content License

To encourage the spread of beneficial Islamic knowledge while safeguarding the integrity of scholarly teachings, we grant all seekers and Muslims a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to access and share platform content under the following conditions:

✅ Permitted Uses:
  • Listening to, downloading, and streaming audio and video lectures for personal or family learning.
  • Downloading and printing syllabus PDFs, book notes, and articles for study circles (halaqāt).
  • Sharing direct links or complete, unedited audio lessons across mosques, community radio, and messaging groups.
  • Quoting excerpts in academic research or educational essays with clear attribution to Shaykh Abū Aḥmad Sulaimān Ḥamzah.
❌ Strictly Prohibited Uses:
  • Commercial Resale: Packaging, selling, or placing platform recordings, PDFs, or articles behind paid paywalls.
  • Distortion & Misrepresentation: Editing, cutting, or splicing audio/video recordings in a manner that distorts the Shaykh's scholarly meaning or takes rulings out of their proper theological context.
  • False Attribution: Rebranding platform material as the work of another teacher or altering watermarks and logos.

3. Questions & Answers (Fatwa Portal) Submission Terms

By submitting a religious inquiry or counseling question to the Shaykh through this platform:

  • Informational Character: You acknowledge that the Shaykh's answers are religious evaluations based on the specific facts provided in your submission. They are not judicial decrees and cannot replace official legal or statutory representation in formal court disputes.
  • Anonymized Public Benefit: You grant the platform the non-exclusive right to review, answer, and potentially publish the ruling on the public portal in an anonymized format (with all personal names and identifying details removed) so that other seekers facing similar issues may benefit.
  • Good-Faith Submissions: You agree to submit honest, accurate inquiries and refrain from submitting abusive, frivolous, defamatory, or hypothetical mock questions.

4. User Conduct & Acceptable Use

While using this platform, you agree not to:

  • Deploy automated bots, spiders, or scrapers that place unreasonable strain on platform infrastructure or disrupt service for other seekers.
  • Attempt unauthorized administrative access, probe vulnerabilities, or interfere with security controls.
  • Submit false emails, spam the newsletter broadcast queue, or abuse notification webhooks.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

This platform and all its learning materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While every scholarly effort is made to maintain verified accuracy and continuous service:

  • We do not guarantee that digital audio streams, downloads, or third-party links will be permanently uninterrupted or error-free.
  • The Shaykh, Qalbus-Saleem Islamic Center, and platform developers shall not be liable for any direct or indirect civil loss or damages arising from reliance upon material on this website or technical service interruptions.

6. Governing Law & Islamic Resolution

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, harmonious with the principles of Islamic equity and mutual consultation (Shūrā). Any dispute or grievance shall first be addressed through amicable, good-faith dialogue with the administration of Qalbus-Saleem Islamic Center.
